Cabbagetown Theatre Company is a not-for-profit theatre company that has been operating in the Cabbagetown area for the past 15 years. We have gained renown for our “short play” format, meaning productions that contain a series of short, often original works that range in length from 5 – 25 minutes. Our showcases include The Annual Slaw Festival (June) and No Sweetheart Required (February), as well as a pantomime-style production for children that is presented in the Necropolis Chapel every September during the Cabbagetown Festival. We have also presented many original works in the Toronto Fringe Festival, and occasionally mount a Halloween-themed festival called Ghost Lore.
